Every new Cavalier home contains a wide range of products from leading national supplier companies which are backed by a diverse range of warranties and guarantees.

Copies of these documents are given to all Cavalier clients in their hand over kit, and we have listed a summary here of some of the supplier’s warrantees and guarantees.

For ease of reference we have provided a summary of the main features of the warranty/guarantee and listed the nationwide contact phone numbers below for a range of suppliers. You will need to refer to the specific details of the terms and conditions of the individual warrantees/guarantees offered by the supplier companies. The summary provided below is a guide only.

AUSTRALIAN WARRANTIES

NEW ZEALAND WARRANTIES

A&L WINDOWS
7 year parts and labour on glass and frames.
5 year parts and labour on moving parts.

CAROMA INDUSTRIES
12 month warranty on defects due to manufacturing fault.

CSR GYPROCK PLASTERBOARD
Lifetime guarantee.

DORF CLARK INDUSTRIES
12 month warranty on defects due to manufacturing fault.

DUX MANUFACTURING
All Dux Forte hot water systems are backed by a 5 year replacement warranty on the tank and 12 month warranty on parts and labour.

OMEGA AND SMEG APPLIANCES
24 month “Peace of Mind” warranty.

SCHLAGE DOOR FURNITURE
Lifetime mechanical warranty on all F-Series knobs and levers along with either a lifetime finish or 10 year finish warranty (depending on the door furniture in your new home).

STODDART (steel roofing)
Stoddart’s Installation Performance Warranty – 7 years warranty on the performance of the installation of the products.

BHP Coasted Steel Australia’s Material Performance Warranty – up to 25 years protection on material performance.

BHP Building Products’ Product Performance Warranty – up to 25 years protection on product performance.

WATTYL PAINTS
7 years on approved acrylic paints for defects in manufacture resulting in flaking, peeling or blistering of the paint film.

2 years on approved enamel paints for defects in manufacture resulting in flaking, peeling or blistering of the paint film.
